About the Course

This graduate-level course provides a comprehensive exploration of human resource management (HRM) in today’s globalized, technology-driven business environment. It examines the strategic opportunities and operational complexities of managing diverse, cross-border workforces while integrating artificial intelligence (AI), data analytics, and emerging digital tools into HR practices. Students will investigate core HR functions through an international and intercultural lens. Emphasis will be placed on how global organizations align HR strategies and operations with enterprise goals to build resilient, inclusive, and sustainable workplaces. Through scenario-based learning, case studies, applied analytics, and project-driven assignments, learners will apply HR metrics, predictive analytics, and digital platforms to design and evaluate HR initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness. The course emphasizes intercultural competence, systems thinking, and strategic insight, preparing students to lead diverse, and cross-functional teams. A culminating capstone project challenges students to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world global HR challenges, designing strategic solutions that integrate people, processes, technology, and culture for sustainable business impact.
