We are excited to celebrate your hard work and achievements at the 2026 Certificate and Program Recognition Ceremony! This special event honors students who have completed their Professional and Specialized Study Certificate Programs, as well as those in International Education programs. We invite you to celebrate your success and commemorate this significant milestone in your educational journey.
We look forward to celebrating your accomplishments and seeing you at this memorable event!
Event Information
- Date: Monday, June 1, 2026

Time: Ceremony: 6:00 – 7:30 pm
- Check-in opens at 5:00 pm (Students must check in by 5:45 pm)
Registration/RSVP
- Registration: A link will be emailed to eligible participants in March.

Guest Policy: Each student may bring up to four guests.
- Note: Maximum guest ticket counts for each ceremony are calculated based on the estimated number of participating graduates and the maximum capacity of the Highlander Union Building (HUB) Conference Room 302. If additional seats open, we'll email students the first week of May.
Eligibility
I. Professional and Specialized Study Certificate Programs
Students are eligible to participate if they meet the following criteria:
- You completed your certificate between July 1, 2025, and June 30, 2026.
- Completion of the Verification Process is required.
Anticipated Completion: If you are expecting to finish your certificate by June 30, 2026, but have not received a registration link, please email graduation@ucx.ucr.edu to determine eligibility.
Required Information for Eligibility Inquiry:
- Your student ID number (starts with an X).
- The name of the program you are completing.
II. International Education Programs
Students completing the following programs are invited to participate:
- Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma
- Admission Preparation Program (APP)
- Graduate Preparation Program (GPP)
- Master of Business Preparation Program (MBPP)
- University Credit Program (UCP) (if elect to take a separate certificate)
III. Registration and Next Steps (For All Eligible Students)
- Registration Link: Eligible students for all programs will receive a registration link directly via email by March 2026.
- Action: No action is required until you receive the link, unless you fall into the "Anticipated Completion" category above.
Parking and Lodging
- Parking: Parking lot information is coming soon. Both students and guests must preregister for parking. A link for registration will be shared with students closer to the event date, and they can forward it to their guests.
- Lodging: For students and visitors outside the immediate area, recommended hotel information can be found here.
