UCR launches site to match students with scholarships

UCR recently launched Scholarship Universe, a platform that analyzes a student’s academic history and interests to match them with relevant awards. The tool was made possible through a partnership with UCR’s Office of Financial Aid, University Advancement, and Information Technology Solutions.

Five new trustees appointed to UCR Foundation board

The UCR Foundation Board of Trustees has welcomed a new chair and five new members, all of whom began their two-year terms July 1. The 40-member volunteer Board of Trustees oversees UCR’s affiliated foundation, receiving and managing the investment of a $260.2 million endowment as of May 31 that supports the long-term strength of UCR’s research programs, colleges, and scholarship funds. Trustees advocate for UCR and advance its mission by seeking and securing private support for its programs.
