The purpose of the event is to celebrate her accomplishments in being the second woman to hold the position in Riverside history and an alumna of UCR. It is our students' hope that Mayor Lock Dawson will share her time as a Highlander, her journey to City Council, and opportunities available in Riverside to post-grads. There will be a Q+A portion that are composed of questions determined directly from the elected officials/student leaders of ASUCR. The questions will be filtered and chosen prior to event to be shared with the campus community.
