The Latino Summit is an annual event that LBSA has hosted for the past 3 years, which brings together Latinx based organizations to create a space for students in our community to come out and hear from Latinx professionals in all kinds of careers. With the support of other Latinx organizations on campus, we bring out professional speakers to share about their experiences as Latinx individuals pursuing higher levels of education. We aim to empower our Latino community through professional tips, leadership, and personal experience. Students will also have the opportunity to hear from distinguished alumni at the alumni panel and see a special performance from UCR’s very own Ballet Folklorico. Food will be provided! This is an event that LBSA has put together through the support of its fellow Latinx organization as well as through campus resources like the Chicano Student Center, HUB Resources, and the School of Business. Free and open to the public! RSVP is recommended but not required.
