Level 1 Adult Swim Lessons - Registration Opens: November 26

Our Level 1 Adult Swim Lessons are perfect for beginners looking to build confidence in the water. Designed for adults with little to no swimming experience, this class focuses on fundamental water safety skills, basic swim techniques, and comfort in the pool environment. Participants will learn to float, glide, and kick while developing proper breathing techniques and coordination.

With patient, certified instructors and a supportive atmosphere, you'll progress at your own pace while gaining the skills needed to enjoy swimming safely and confidently. Join us to take the first step towards a lifetime of aquatic enjoyment!

When: February 9 - February 26
* Due to the Presidents Day facility closure on February 19, Monday, March 2 will serve as the make-up day for the missed Monday session.

Who it's for:  Adults who are new to swimming or seeking foundational water skills.
What to bring: Comfortable swimwear, a towel, and optional swim cap or goggles.
Duration: 30 minutes per session, twice a week for 3 weeks.
Group Size: 1 instructor to 6 participants

General Policies

The Student Recreation Center reserves the right to cancel any program and to change fees where applicable. Partcipants must adhere to Student Recreation Center pool rules, policies, and procedures. There are no makeup lessons or refunds unless there is a doctor's note or medical reason. The Student Recreation Center does not provide parking.
