For example, domestic out-of-state candidates may be eligible for a one-year nonresident tuition grant (residency can be established after the first year, making students eligible for lower in-state tuition fees in subsequent years). The deadline for most of these awards is January 5.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants are urged to submit their applications for graduate school prior to the deadline for full fellowship consideration.
